Where you come in

As a senior Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant in the SIG partner team, you will support the growth of the partner ecosystem at SIG. Your key roles will be to explore synergies with prospective partners, guide the onboarding of new partners, provide support on deals with partner customers, align with product and marketing requirements, and be a liaison for the delivery organization to manage the presales and services to be provided. You work together within the partner team to scale the number of partners and partner customers by building compelling propositions, and presales collateral and to provide input to onboarding, training and delivery development. You report to the Delivery Director of the partner team and work together with the VP of Partner Sales and Account Executives.

The activities of the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant

  • Works on (partner) propositions, sales collateral, business cases, guiding onboarding and training of partners and partner customers.

  • Works on developing new partnerships (with partner sales team) and on developing customer opportunities by actively supporting our existing technology and consultancy partners.

  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address prospect requirements, assesses prospect's needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the partner (customer) and SIG.

  • Coordinates closely with SIG partner sales, sales support, and product & delivery resources to align solution design with partner or customers’ business requirements.

  • Works with customer technical staff to secure commitments needed to ensure a deal’s ‘technical close’ in each stage of the sales cycle.

  • Meets assigned targets for sales growth.

  • Secures input from all necessary stakeholders within the prospect’s organization. Adapt solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.

  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities in line with our (partner) strategy. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and nurtured or developed.

The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant works together on a daily basis with the Delivery Director and VP Partner Sales, Partner Sales Directors/Account Executives. Job requirements

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in areas such as Business and IT, like Business Information Technology or Business Information Management.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in pre-sales, in a business-to-business software environment in a large/strategic customer market segment, operated as SaaS.

  • A 5-year record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable role.

  • Excellent command of the English language, verbal & written is required.

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and/or German language, verbal & written is recommended.

  • Deep understanding of software development and software related tooling and platforms.

  • Stage presence on the management level (e.g. CIOs, partner managers).

  • Opinionated, strong listener, seeking to understand first.

  • This position includes outside travel to customers’ premises.

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.

  • Proactive attitude, self-starting, and self-motivated.

  • Working hybrid from the Amsterdam office (ideally 2 days per week on average).
