The Account Executive is responsible for outside sales in the New York area . The Account Executive (AE) is expected to seek out and progress new and existing opportunities.

How we work

  • Leads are generated by Marketing, BDR(s), consultants, and the AE.
  • After an initial meeting with the (prospective) client about their challenges and needs, you will progress the opportunity together with a lead consultant.


Where you come in

Achieving target

  • Develop a sales strategy in the assigned vertical / territory with a target prospect list and a regional/vertical sales plan.
  • Drive sales with prospects. and customers
  • Work closely with SIG consultants, pre-sales, architects, and researchers to drive deals forward.
  • Manage client relations throughout the entire engagement and afterwards. Be a trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future software development road map. Drive the adoption and roll-out of SIG’s Software Assurance platform and services portfolio within individual organizations and the marketplace.
  • Achieving your annual sales target based on order intake and MRR for services and technology.
  • Maintain and develop a customer and prospect database.
  • Maintain and expand existing customer relations through account management and develops new customers.
  • Collaborate and align closely with your counterparts in delivery and marketing in translating SIG portfolio in winning propositions for your clients.
  • Expand market share: Expand our market share in the region.

  • Keep sales CRM up-to-date: At SIG we drive sales and measure progress by metrics. This is how we decide on making investments and drive our business.

Requirements

Job requirements

  • At least 2 years of b2b software and/or tech services sales.
  • Have a demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets while managing a number of mid to large enterprise accounts.
  • You can build strong relationships at levels and roles with both prospect and customer organizations including C- level and internally across business sectors.
  • Experience in value selling; developing a roadmap, business case and ROI together with the customer.
  • Ability to articulate the value of complex software solutions to prospects, customers.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Experience in selling a software and/or services solutions.
  • A degree in business administration with a technical background, or sales experience.
