Code4Thought is a company that strives to provide transparency into the technical quality of software systems.

In order to do so in Greece, Code4Thought has partnered with Software Improvement Group which powers our capabilities by providing tool-assisted source code investigation and proven risk and cost analysis methodologies.

Where you come in

As a technical software analyst in Code4Thought you will analyse the architecture, source code and development processes of large scale systems developed on behalf of or from Greek and international large organisations. You do that by examining the non-functional (quality) aspects of those systems including Maintainability, Security, Performance and Reliability.

To do so we provide you with rigorous training in our SIG static code analysis toolset and methodologies by experienced international colleagues. Your role is to receive the architecture, source code and context of a system, perform a tool-based and/or custom analysis, and communicate your findings to a SIG software consultant. Typically, your work will consist of:

  • Conducting technical interviews with architects and developers to understand source code, documentation and the system’s architecture together with the software consultant.
  • Analysing the system, collect findings and provide them to the software consultant.
  • Working closely with a software consultant in order to retrieve context and provide technical findings.
  • Performing research and develop tools for source code and architectural analysis.


Who you are

  • Appreciate quality in software,
  • A completed BSc or MSc in S.T.E.M.,
  • Analytical thinking and able to simplify and distill information from large collections of data,
  • Good command of Greek and English,
  • Preferably 3+ years experience with software development (We use Java & Python for implementing our custom analysis tools),
  • Experience in static code analysis is a plus.
