As part of our ambitious international growth strategy, our marketing department is looking for a Marketing Manager who understands the business impact of software quality and complex IT challenges facing organizations in both the public and private sectors.

Where you come in

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer based in Amsterdam, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting the strategy for our marketing efforts and set a vision to support our entry and expansion into the Swiss and North American markets. Managing a team of Field Marketing Managers, you’ll develop and execute a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy that drives demand generation, increases brand awareness and strengthens our company’s position as a thought leader throughout the regions.

By serving as a local contact in Switzerland, you’ll help facilitate business development and account management efforts to onboard new clients and grow the footprint within existing accounts. You will also develop the cultural and market knowledge necessary to continually refine our approach and positioning for the region, in full alignment with the business plan.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all field marketing functions to achieve the company objectives around revenue, growth and visibility – all while ensuring a consistent message and position aligned with our vision and mission.

You’ll partner with subject matter experts and serve as senior editor to develop, write and edit collateral (customer case studies, blog posts, web pages, whitepapers, webinars, press releases, sales material and more) aligned with the SIG content strategy. You’ll act as a content lead to conceptualize and strategize an evolving content calendar.

You’ll oversee and continually refine our corporate and strategic messaging, ensuring brand standards are maintained across all materials and channels.

Together with your Field Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for the development and rollout of global go-to-market programs and product launch campaigns.

    • Manage a team of Field Marketing Managers in driving the GTM strategy globally, localizing messaging for various market segments
    • Develop short-, medium- and long-term demand generation strategies
    • Manage the Field Marketing budget and measure the success of marketing activities, with metrics that include unique web visitors, qualified information requests and qualified leads, ROI on campaigns and events, contribution to sales pipeline, cost per lead and production of marketing materials
    • Ensure the regional operation in Switzerland is delivering against the business plan; serve as local contact and facilitate business development and account and partner management activities
    • Develop and deliver in line with a marketing calendar that includes campaigns, target messaging, and releases of new solutions
    • Manage PR, social media and community building efforts for customers, prospects and influencers, in alignment with the corporate programs and guidelines
    • Optimize the lead/sales conversion funnel to maximize demand, including generation and nurture of leads, as well as closing campaigns and programs
    • Build market intelligence within the MAP/CRM databases (i.e. maintenance of account data, creation of e-mail lists, accounting for permission-based marketing) to extend outreach of marketing and sales activities
    • Simultaneously manage multiple marketing instruments (events, campaigns, PR, etc.)
    • Deliver against agreed-upon timelines, schedules, and expectations


    • 7-10 years of experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, including lead generation, sales enablement, and product and brand marketing
    • At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience in IT services domain
    • Excellent and demonstrable English copywriting skills (American English)
    • Ability to think strategically, as well as practically and operationally
    • Knowledge of the principles, metrics, characteristics and approaches around software quality
    • MBA with focus in International Business; bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
    • Native English speaker (American English); working knowledge of either French or German
    • Concrete experience with North American business/working culture
    • Currently located in Switzerland
