At EXIN, we practice what we teach, therefore our digital processes are key in delivering value to our customers and partners. As part of our ambitious international growth strategy, we are looking for an Information Manager. The Information Management Specialist will be a part of the Information Management Team. The Information Manager reports to the COO The team’s main responsibility is ensuring the availability, maintenance, and continuous development of EXIN’s three online business platforms: Exillence (examination platform), EXeed (digital badging platform) and competency assessment (assessment platform).

Where you come in

EXIN’s Information Management Team faces several challenges in the coming year. The most significant of these challenges is the redevelopment of EXIN’s core business platform and the development of a competency assessment tool. You are, expected to participate in the project team(s) to these developments.

Besides these challenges, you will be responsible for:

EXIN’s data warehousing (SQL) and BI reporting, ensuring EXIN’s information security compliance to the ISO 27001 norm (under the guidance of SIG colleagues) and providing day-to-day hands-on IT support to your colleagues at EXIN. You will also be responsible for infrastructure which is largely outsourced with service providers, such as hosting providers and outsourced developers.

  • Maintaining availability of EXIN’s platform and ensuring business continuity.
  • Liaising with external service providers for infrastructure set-up and maintenance.
  • Handling of support requests, both internal and external.
  • Maintaining documentation of IT-procedures, infrastructure, and architecture, networking, servers.

Data warehousing & BI

  • Managing and updating EXIN data warehousing (SQL) and BI reporting.

ISO 27k – information security

  • ISO 27k – implementing in our systems and being part of the annual audit under the guidance of SIG.



  • Bachelor degree in computer science or a technology-related field.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of application development.
  • Knowledge in data warehousing, SQL, and BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A true team player with customer service and customer value in mind
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
  • (Nice to have) Knowledge and experience with ISO 27001.
