As part of our ambitious growth strategy, our HR department is looking for an HR Manager with a strong focus on business, who understands the importance of HR within an organization.


How we work
SIG has approximately 150 employees and is growing rapidly. Not only in the Netherlands, but in various locations worldwide. Within our HR department, we operate close to the business, which helps us to understand what we need to make HR successful in our company. We ensure that HR always has a positive impact on the business and that SIG is an attractive working environment for our employees.


Where you come in
As HR Manager, you will be part of the Global HR team. The team consists of an Office Manager, Global Recruiter, HR Officer and HR Consultant. You will report to the VP of HR. You’re coming to give foundation, and structure and help achieve company strategic and operational goals. You will be the operational leader of the HR Officer and Consultant, supporting them in their day-to-day work and coaching them in progressing their HR careers.

As the HR Manager, you are highly involved in the day-to-day activities of your department, working alongside your team members on the entire spectrum of HR. You are responsible for the operational side of the employee life cycle within the organisation. You contribute to achieving the company objectives and you contribute ideas about the business developments of the various companies and what this means for HR policy. You proactively provide advice and develop proposals on remuneration issues, performance, the job house, talent management as well as employee benefits. In addition, you set the tone for the implementation processes of new policies, and HR software and you can support different recruitment activities. Furthermore,

  • Active involvement in worker’s council-related matters
  • You see through and oversee the total HR field and you come up with improvement proposals across the full width of our international HR domain.
  • You will develop, translate, and implement HR policies
  • You will give your advice and always ask in-depth questions. You make situations open to discussion, you are critical and, above all, helpful in discovering new needs and insights.
  • You closely follow trends in the market and developments in legislation and regulations and you can translate these into the needs of the business and convert them into policy.
  • You play an important role in the application, assurance, and development of, among other things, employment conditions, job descriptions
  • and job classification.

Requirements

Job requirements

  • You have a completed HBO or university education, preferably in the field of HR.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a solid HR (international) operational and advisory role.
  • You have at least 3 years of working experience within a Dutch company.
  • Preferably experience in managing HR support and managing multiple international locations in the HR field.
  • Relevant experience within the software industry is a plus.
  • Analytical and project management skills.
  • Social and communication skills are necessary for maintaining, developing, and convincing the business.
  • Ability and vision to translate policy into practical and pragmatic solutions.
