As part of our ambitious growth strategy, our marketing department is looking for a a Field Marketing Manager, who understands the market for business-to-business software and/or management consultancy, to help us take SIG North America to the next level.


Where you come in

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing (based in the Netherlands), the Field Marketing Manager will support our entry into the North American market with the development and execution of a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy that drives demand generation, increases brand awareness and strengthens our company’s position as a thought leader throughout the region.


This role you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all North American marketing functions, including inside sales, to achieve the company objectives around revenue, growth and visibility, all while ensuring a consistent message and position consistent with our vision and mission.

Activities

  • Drive the GTM strategy and localize messages for various market segments
  • Serve as liaison between SIG North America and the central marketing team based in Amsterdam
  • Develop short-, medium- and long-term demand generation strategies
  • Manage the North American marketing budget and measure the success of marketing activities, with metrics that include unique web visitors, qualified information requests and qualified leads, ROI on campaigns and events, and production of marketing materials
  • Develop and deliver in line with a marketing calendar that includes campaigns, target messaging, and releases of new solutions
  • Work efficiently and proficiently with marketing technology and tools, such as Salesforce, Pardot, hotjar, etc.
  • Manage PR, social media and community building efforts for customers, prospects and influencers, in alignment with the corporate programs and guidelines
  • Optimize the lead/sales conversion funnel to maximize demand, including generation and nurture of leads, as well as closing campaigns and programs
  • Build market intelligence within the MAP/CRM databases (i.e. maintenance of account data, creation of e-mail lists, accounting for permission-based marketing) to extend outreach of marketing and sales activities
  • Simultaneously manage multiple marketing instruments (events, campaigns, PR, etc.)
  • Deliver against agreed-upon timelines, schedules, and expectations
  • Additional duties as need to help ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Previous B2B marketing experience in technology/IT services domain

Requirements

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of demand generation, marketing communications, and product marketing
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience in financial services company or management consultancy
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Native english speaker 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Independent self-starter and team player who can hit the ground running
  • A willingness to roll up the sleeves and deliver, passionate about building an effort from the ground up
  • Ability to think tactically and strategically, as well as practically and operationally
  • Web master and desktop publishing skills, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Previous B2B marketing experience in technology/IT services domain
