Who we are
Modern society is becoming ever-more reliant on software technologies and its developers. We all trust our businesses, homes and lives to it, but do we know what it’s made of? Or that it’s trustworthy? This is where the Software Improvement Group (SIG) comes in. They are the independent global authority on software assurance; assessing and benchmarking the quality of software technology and development processes. In 2021 they acquired EXIN, an international specialist in assessing and certifying IT professionals. Together, SIG and EXIN assess the full spectrum of people, processes and technology. While working closely together with SIG and utilizing the cross-selling opportunities, EXIN operates as an independent Business Unit and has its growth strategy.
EXIN is headquartered in the Netherlands with entities and operations all around the world, including Germany, India, Brazil, China, Japan, and the US.

You will play a pivotal role in driving and managing EXIN’s growth and maturing the Business and Finance processes. Furthermore, you execute the accounting and reporting in a timely and trustworthy manner. You manage the relationship with the external accountants and tax authorities.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in the design and launch of the new skills assessment platform, EXIN’s powerful second pillar in its growth strategy. You will have a direct influence on the setup of the revenue stream, the interface with the financial system and the related management information.
The Business unit controller will have regular interaction with a wide range of colleagues within EXIN and the SIG Finance team and reports directly to the CFO of SIG and CEO of EXIN.
