As part of our ambitious growth strategy, our marketing department is looking for a Marketing Manager with a strong focus on product marketing, who understands the market for B2B enterprise software and/or management consultancy services.


Where you come in

Reporting to the Global Field Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will support our entry into new markets, including North America, and expansion into those existing, with the development and execution of a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy that drives demand generation. Increases brand awareness and strengthens our company’s position as a thought leader throughout the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all North American marketing functions, to achieve the company objectives around revenue, new business growth and visibility – all while ensuring a consistent message and position aligned with our global proposition plan, vision and mission.


You’ll partner with subject matter experts to develop, write and edit collateral (customer case studies, blog posts, web pages, white-papers, webinars, press releases, sales material and more) aligned with the SIG content strategy. You’ll act as a content lead to conceptualize and strategize an evolving GTM calendar and campaign plan in close collaboration with the Global Field Marketing Director and Proposition Manager.


You’ll continually refine our corporate and strategic messaging, ensuring brand standards are maintained across all materials and channels. Together with your Field Marketing peers, you’ll be responsible for the development and rollout of global go-to-market programs and product launch campaigns to achieve the required number of MQLs. You will also act for the North American team as the go-to person for North American specific marketing initiatives and execution.

Activities

  • Drive the GTM strategy and lead generation for target markets/regions
  • Serve as liaison between the SIG North America team and the Amsterdam-based central marketing team
  • Develop short-, medium- and long-term demand generation strategies
  • Manage the North American marketing budget and measure the success of marketing activities, with metrics that include unique web visitors, MQLs and pipeline conversion, ROI on campaigns and events, and production of marketing materials
  • Develop and deliver in line with the global (product) marketing calendar that includes DM campaigns, events, (paid) social campaigns, target messaging, and material required to release new solutions
  • Work efficiently and proficiently with marketing technology and tools, such as Salesforce, Pardot, hotjar, etc.
  • Manage PR, social media and community building efforts for customers, prospects and influencers, in alignment with the corporate programs and guidelines
  • Optimize the lead/sales conversion funnel to maximize demand, including generation and nurture of leads, as well as closing campaigns and programs
  • Build market intelligence within the MAP/CRM databases (i.e. maintenance of account data, creation of e-mail lists, accounting for permission-based marketing) to extend outreach of marketing, Business Development Representatives/inside sales and sales activities
  • Simultaneously manage multiple marketing instruments (events, campaigns, PR, etc.)
  • Deliver against agreed-upon timelines, schedules, and expectations
  • Additional duties as assigned to help ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, marketing communications, and/or product marketing
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience in the IT (enterprise software) or financial services industries or management consultancy
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Native English speaker
  • Independent self-starter and team player who can hit the ground running
  • A willingness to roll up the sleeves and deliver, passionate about building an effort from the ground up
  • Ability to think tactically and strategically, as well as practically and operationally
  • Demonstrated experience and ability with marketing automation, preferably Pardot/Salesforce
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Wordpress, Hotjar, etc.
  • Web master and desktop publishing skills, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
